Relief Materials Airlifted to Udhampur’s Remote Areas in IAF-Assisted Operation
Udhampur 08 September :- In a significant effort to mitigate the hardships faced by residents of inaccessible regions, the District Administration Udhampur, under the directives of the Deputy Commissioner, has launched a large-scale airlift operation with the crucial support of the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Essential relief supplies, including ration, are being transported via air to various remote and far-flung locations within the district that have been cut off due to adverse weather and treacherous terrain. The operation, which is ongoing and dynamic, is being continuously adjusted according to prevailing weather conditions to ensure aid reaches the neediest populations. In a specific development this morning, a successful air drop was conducted, providing vital ration supplies to the needy inhabitants of the remote village of Ladda in the Moungri area.
This initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to ensuring no citizen is left without essential support, leveraging the strategic assistance of the IAF to overcome logistical challenges.
