Seven Injured as Passenger Auto Overturns at Koi; Officials Ensure Swift Medical Response

Udhampur 07 September :- Seven passengers sustained injuries this afternoon when a passenger auto-rickshaw bearing registration number JK 14 K 3634 met with an accident near Koi.

The local administration, including the Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar of Latti, responded promptly to the emergency, coordinating rescue efforts and ensuring immediate medical treatment for all those affected. According to officials, four of the more critically injured patients were rushed to the Sub District Hospital in Chenani for advanced care. They have been identified as Sanjeev Kumar (son of Rattan Latti), Sanju Kumar (son of Duyie Nath), Nishoo Devi (daughter of Tatoo, Panchayat Latti), and Makhnoo Devi (daughter of Tatoo, Panchayat Latti).

The remaining three injured individuals are currently under observation at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Latti. The swift action by the revenue officials is credited with facilitating timely medical intervention and managing the situation effectively at the accident site.
