Indian Navy Eastern Fleet commanders visit Singapore to strengthen maritime defense partnership
SINGAPORE, July 3, 2026 — In a solemn ceremony, the Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, Rear Admiral Alok Ananda, along with the commanding officers of the visiting Indian Navy Eastern Fleet ships, paid homage at the Kranji War Memorial in Singapore.
The naval officers honored the fallen soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice while defending the shared values of freedom and peace.During the visit, the Indian naval leadership also interacted with Colonel Ang Chun Hou Bertram, the Fleet Commander of the Republic of Singapore Navy.
Their discussions focused on further strengthening the maritime defense partnership and enhancing bilateral operational cooperation between the Indian Navy and the Republic of Singapore Navy.
