Indian Army begins counter terrorism training capsule for CISF personnel

NEW DELHI, July 3, 2026 — “शौर्यं दक्षता च विजयस्य मूलम्।” Under the aegis of the Saidpur Brigade, Golden Key Division, a two-week counter-terrorism training capsule has commenced for 30 personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force Quick Response Team.

This initiative reaffirms the commitment of the Indian Army to strengthening joint operational capabilities and fostering closer cooperation between different security forces.

The comprehensive training programme is designed to enhance combat proficiency, tactical acumen, and mission readiness through intensive drills in contemporary counter-terrorism operations and modern operational practices.

Along with sharpening individual tactical skills, the capsule aims to build greater inter-force synergy, seamless interoperability, and a highly coordinated response to evolving security challenges in the service of the nation.
