Delhi Police arrest Tillu Tajpuria gang members in Alipur firing case

NEW DELHI, July 1, 2026 :- The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police has arrested wanted members of the notorious Tillu Tajpuria gang in connection with a recent firing and attempt to murder case in the Alipur area. The operation, executed by the NR-II team of the Crime Branch, successfully cracked the case which stemmed from a violent attempt to illegally seize a property.

Acting on precise intelligence, sustained surveillance, and a swift tactical response, law enforcement officials managed to track down and apprehend the suspects.During the operation, police recovered an illegal semi-automatic pistol along with eight live cartridges from the possession of the accused.

Additionally, a black Scorpio-N SUV utilized during the commission of the crime was seized by the team. The successful enforcement action was conducted by a team led by Inspector Pradeep Singh, under the guidance of ACP Girish Kaushik, and supervised by DCP Chandra Kumar Singh.
