Assam Rifles provides lifesaving medical evacuation for pregnant woman in Manipur

IMPHAL, July 1, 2026:- Assam Rifles personnel operating under the Spear Corps successfully responded to a critical medical emergency involving a pregnant woman from Janglenphai Village in Manipur.

Upon receiving information about the medical crisis, a dedicated team of military medical personnel immediately stepped in to provide urgent care and stabilize the patient at the Keithalmanbi Garrison.

Following the initial stabilization, the team managed the safe evacuation of the patient to the Government Medical College for advanced medical treatment.

The prompt and timely intervention by the security forces ensured the safety of both the mother and the unborn child, highlighting the ongoing commitment of the Assam Rifles to delivering crucial humanitarian aid and saving lives in the remote regions of the state.
