Gyan Setu Community Study Centre Inaugurated at Military Hospital Meerut for Army Wards

MEERUT, June 4, 2026 — The Community Study Centre Paathshala Gyan Setu was officially inaugurated at the Military Hospital in Meerut by Major General Sumit Rana, General Officer Commanding, PUPSA, and dedicated as a permanent station asset.

The newly launched facility is designed to support the children of serving military personnel studying in classes nine through twelve. By offering a structured academic and mentorship ecosystem, the initiative aims to provide educational continuity for students who frequently face disruptions due to the regular postings and relocations of their parents.

The modern educational hub comes equipped with an air-conditioned study hall, a fully stocked digital library, high-speed internet access, and comprehensive e-learning resources.

Beyond the infrastructure, the center will provide subsidized coaching in physics, chemistry, and mathematics to help students prepare for their academic curriculum.

The facility will also host career counseling programs, psychological wellness sessions, and professional mentorship opportunities led by both military and civil experts, highlighting the commitment of the Indian Army to the welfare of soldiers and their families.
