Assam Rifles honors newly selected Agniveer candidates following pre recruitment training at Lokra

LOKRA, May 30, 2026 :- The Lokra Battalion of Assam Rifles organized a felicitation ceremony at Lokra in the Sonitpur district of Assam to honor local youth who were recently selected as Agniveers in the Indian Armed Forces.

The successful candidates had previously undergone rigorous pre-recruitment training conducted by the paramilitary force.During their preparation phase, the selected youth received free written academic coaching, physical fitness training, and dedicated mentorship from Assam Rifles personnel.

This comprehensive training initiative was undertaken with the primary aim of guiding and empowering local youth who aspire to build careers in the Armed Forces and other security organizations.
