Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta meets Chhattisgarh Governor to strengthen military civil synergy

RAIPUR, May 30, 2026 :- Central Command General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta called on Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka to discuss issues of mutual interest concerning military-civil cooperation, veteran welfare, and support for the armed forces community.

The interaction focused on strengthening coordination for the welfare, rehabilitation, and resettlement of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, and dependents, while reaffirming the commitment of the Indian Army toward sustained support for those who have served the nation.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of close synergy between the Army, state administration, and civil institutions in furthering welfare initiatives, enhancing outreach, and ensuring responsive support mechanisms for the armed forces fraternity.
