Reasi Police Finalize Legal Disposal of Vehicle Seized in Narcotics Trafficking Operation
REASI, MAY 12, 2026:- The Reasi Police have advanced their crackdown on the narcotics trade by securing a court order for the permanent disposal of a vehicle utilized in illegal drug activities.
Under the guidance of SSP Reasi Mukund Tibrewal, the department presented a motorcycle, registered as JK20C-9374, before the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Reasi after completing all necessary legal requirements under Section 52-A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
This specific vehicle was seized as a key component of the investigation into FIR No. 73/2026, which involves multiple violations of the NDPS Act. Upon reviewing the certified inventory and the evidence provided by the police, the court authorized the official disposal of the conveyance as per established statutory protocols.
This decisive action is part of the broader Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan, reflecting a strategic effort to cripple the logistical networks used by drug peddlers in the region.
