Lama Chodpa Tsogs and Kusali Chod Offered at Jive-Tsal as Public Veneration Concluded in Leh
Leh, May 10: As public veneration of the Sacred Relics of the Tathagata Buddha concluded in Leh, Jive-Tsal continued to resonate with prayers, offerings and sacred chants marking the final spiritual observances of the exposition period.
Members of Nalden Nyamlen Tsogspa Lalok, led by Drupon Phuntsok Gyalson Rinpoche along with more than a hundred disciples, offered Lama Chodpa tsogs and Kusali Chod prayers at the sacred venue.
The ceremony centred around offerings dedicated to enlightened beings, with prayers for peace, well-being and happiness of all sentient beings. Ritual chants and the sound of traditional prayer instruments echoed across Jive-Tsal as devotees gathered in an atmosphere of reflection and devotion.
The spiritual observances formed part of the concluding rituals conducted during the exposition of the holy relics in Leh before the sacred relics proceed onward to Zanskar.
