Baramulla Police holds drug awareness ATV rally under Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan

Baramulla, April 25, 2026:- The Jammu and Kashmir Police organized a large-scale drug awareness rally in the Tangmarg sub-division to further the goals of the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan.

Held under the supervision of the SDPO Tangmarg, the event featured local youth riding all-terrain vehicles across the scenic stretches of Tangmarg and Gulmarg. Participants displayed banners with messages such as “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life” to capture public attention and highlight the devastating impact of substance abuse on individuals and the community.

The initiative was designed to engage the younger generation and encourage a healthy, drug-free lifestyle through active participation. By moving through prominent public locations, the rally aimed to reinforce the idea of collective responsibility in identifying and eradicating the drug menace.

Police officials took the opportunity to reiterate their commitment to dismantling narcotics networks and urged residents to continue supporting law enforcement by reporting drug peddling and abuse to help build a safer society.
