Northern Army Commander Reviews Operational Preparedness and Anti Infiltration Grid Along Line of Control

KRISHNA GHATI, APRIL 20: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Northern Command, visited frontline units deployed in the Krishna Ghati and Bhimber Gali sectors today to review the anti-infiltration grid and assess operational readiness along the Line of Control.

During his field visit, the Northern Army Commander received comprehensive briefings on the current security situation and the measures in place to thwart cross-border infiltration attempts.

He meticulously evaluated the defensive posture of the troops and the effectiveness of the surveillance systems currently monitoring the rugged terrain.In his interaction with the soldiers stationed at these forward locations, the Army Commander lauded the personnel for their battle-hardened resilience and unwavering commitment to defending the nation’s borders.

He specifically highlighted their indomitable courage while operating in challenging environments and urged them to continue refining their combat skills. Furthermore, he emphasized the integration of modern technologies to enhance situational awareness and operational efficiency.
