BSF Jawan Martyred in Manipur: Constable Mithun Mandal Sacrifices Life During Operational Duty

UKHRUL April 11, 2026 :- The Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF) and all ranks have paid a solemn tribute to Constable Mithun Mandal, who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in Manipur.

The brave soldier sustained a critical bullet injury during a high-stakes operational task in Mongkot Chepu village, located in the Ukhrul district, on April 10, 2026.

Following the incident, he was immediately evacuated to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Imphal for emergency medical treatment.

Despite the best efforts of the medical team, Constable Mandal tragically succumbed to his injuries.The loss of Constable Mithun Mandal has sent a wave of mourning through the security forces, who remember him for his unwavering commitment to national security.
