India Extends Vital Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan Following Devastating Floods and Earthquake

NEW DELHI April 05,2026 :- In a steadfast commitment to regional humanitarian support, India has dispatched a significant consignment of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) materials to Afghanistan to support those affected by recent natural calamities.

Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, announced the initiative via X (formerly Twitter), highlighting that the aid is intended to alleviate the hardships faced by the Afghan people following a series of devastating floods and earthquakes.

The relief package includes essential supplies such as kitchen sets, hygiene kits, plastic sheets, tarpaulins, and sleeping bags, specifically curated to address the immediate needs of displaced families and communities in distress.
