HPCL Maintains Robust Nationwide Fuel Supply Chain: Over 14 Lakh LPG Cylinders Delivered in Single Day
MUMBAI, April 03, 2026 — Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has reaffirmed its commitment to national energy security by ensuring an uninterrupted supply of LPG and automotive fuels across the country. In a remarkable operational feat on April 2nd, the Maharatna PSU delivered more than 14.10 lakh LPG cylinders from its 55 bottling plants, providing prompt and reliable service to households nationwide.
This delivery included a specialized supply of free trade LPG cylinders, comprising 27,800 units of 5 kg and 1,500 units of 2 kg, catering to diverse consumer needs and enhancing accessibility in the cooking gas segment.
Beyond domestic fuel, HPCL’s retail segment demonstrated significant strength and stability, recording sales of 37,269 KL of Petrol and 75,356 KL of Diesel in a single day.
These figures reflect steady supply trends as the company successfully served a massive customer base of over 1.9 crore consumers.
To support this seamless distribution network, HPCL dispatched 7,102 fuel tankers from 80 different supply locations to retail outlets across India.
By maintaining this high-velocity logistics chain, HPCL continues to ensure that both urban and rural markets remain well-stocked, fulfilling its promise of providing reliable energy solutions to every corner of the nation.
