SSP Ganderbal Mentors 2024 Batch Probationary Sub-Inspectors During Field Training
GANDERBAL, APRIL 02: In a concerted effort to enhance professional capacity and field efficiency within the force, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS, held a high-level interactive session today with the 2024 Batch of Probationary Sub-Inspectors (PSIs).
Currently undergoing their Phase-II Job Practical Training in the district, the probationers met with the SSP at the Conference Hall of the District Police Office (DPO) to review their progress and evaluate their practical learning experiences.
SSP Poswal meticulously assessed their field performance, emphasizing that this formative period is the bedrock upon which a successful and responsible career in the Jammu & Kashmir Police is built.During the interaction, the SSP underscored the non-negotiable values of discipline, integrity, and public-centric policing.
He urged the young officers to leverage their time in Ganderbal to master complex investigative techniques and gain a deep understanding of local law-and-order mechanisms. Highlighting the need for a “humane approach,” he encouraged the probationers to be empathetic toward the public while maintaining the highest standards of professional accountability.
The session concluded with an open dialogue where the PSIs shared their field challenges and observations, receiving direct mentorship and strategic guidance from the SSP to ensure they are fully prepared for the rigors of modern law enforcement.
