SSP Doda Launches Phase-II Training for Probationary Sub-Inspectors; Emphasizes Integrity and Community Policing

DODA, April 1, 2026 — Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Mehta, chaired a high-level briefing session today at the District Police Office (DPO) Conference Hall to welcome and mentor newly posted Probationary Sub-Inspectors (PSIs).

Marking the official commencement of Phase-II of their field training within the district, the SSP exhorted the young officers to adopt a “People First” approach in their policing careers.

He underscored that professionalism, discipline, and unwavering dedication are the cornerstones of effective law enforcement, urging the probationers to uphold the highest standards of integrity while navigating the complexities of public service in the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

During the session, the SSP outlined a comprehensive roadmap for the officers, focusing on the timely disposal of cases through impartial and high-quality investigations. He laid special emphasis on the critical need to combat drug abuse and other emerging social challenges, directing the PSIs to remain proactive and vigilant in their respective jurisdictions.
