J&K Budget Session 2026: Transport Minister Presents Multi-Year Annual Audit Reports of Road Transport Corporation

JAMMU, MARCH 31: During the ongoing proceedings of the J&K Legislative Assembly’s Budget Session 2026, Minister for Transport Satish Sharma formally presented a series of financial audit reports in the House.

The Minister laid the Annual Accounts Reports of the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) covering a five-year period, specifically for the financial years 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, and 2018-19.

The presentation of these long-awaited financial statements is a key step toward ensuring fiscal transparency and accountability within the state-owned transport utility, providing the legislature with a detailed overview of the corporation’s past performance and budgetary management.
