FEHMILI 2026: Ferozepur Celebrates Valor and Wisdom at Inaugural Military & Literary Festival
FEROZEPUR | March 30, 2026:-The historic “Land of Martyrs,” Ferozepur, transformed into a vibrant center of intellectual and martial excellence with the grand opening of the inaugural Ferozepur Heritage, Military & Literary Festival (FEHMILI 2026).
Organized under the evocative theme, “Synthesis of the Sword and the Pen,” the event was officially inaugurated by Lt Gen Ajay Chandpuria, GOC Vajra Corps. During his address, Lt Gen Chandpuria emphasized Ferozepur’s storied legacy, noting its unique position as a bridge between profound military history and modern strategic thought.
This landmark festival was made possible through a strategic collaboration between the Golden Arrow Division, the Military Lit Fest Association, the Ferozepur Literati Association, and the DCM Group.
By seamlessly blending military heritage with literary depth, the organizers created a platform that honors the past while engaging the future.
The public response was overwhelming, as attendees participated in insightful panel discussions regarding the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak campaigns.
Beyond the talks, the festival offered immersive experiences, including dynamic weapon and equipment displays that provided a rare, firsthand look into the daily lives and operations of the Indian Army.
