Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Interacts with Army Goodwill School Students on J&K Integration Tour
Jammu, Mar 27: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha held an interactive session on Friday with a group of students from Army Goodwill School, Saujiyan, who are currently visiting Jammu as part of a specialized Jammu and Kashmir Integration Tour.
Organized by the White Knight Corps under Operation Sadbhavana, the outreach program is specifically designed to foster national integration and support the holistic development of children residing in remote border regions.
During the interaction, Manoj Sinha lauded the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the youth in frontier areas, emphasizing that such initiatives are vital in nurturing young minds and strengthening the collective spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”
The visiting contingent, which includes 33 students accompanied by their teachers and military personnel, shared their personal experiences from the journey, which has taken them through Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu, and Srinagar.
For many of these students from border villages, the tour has provided a series of transformative “firsts,” including traveling by rail to Srinagar and exploring urban landmarks such as modern shopping complexes and the Air Force Station in Jammu.
By exposing the youth to the nation’s diverse cultural, social, and institutional frameworks, the tour aims to broaden their horizons, build personal confidence, and instill a deep-seated sense of belonging within the national mainstream.
