Indian Navy’s Ocean Sailing Node Empowers INA Trainees with High-Octane Sea Training
ETIMALA, Mar 26: The Indian Navy’s Ocean Sailing Node (OSN) has successfully spearheaded “Camp Windward,” a high-intensity maritime training initiative designed to sharpen the seafaring skills of Indian Naval Academy (INA) trainees.
During the exercise, four prominent Indian Naval Sailing Vessels (INSVs)—Mhadei, Tarini, Kadalpura, and Hariyal—surged ahead to provide cadets with hands-on exposure to authentic maritime conditions.
By navigating real seas and contending with unpredictable winds, the trainees gained invaluable experience in professional sailing, reinforcing the Navy’s commitment to forging the next generation of resilient and skilled sailors through practical, blue-water training.
