General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Operational Readiness and AI Integration at Sudarshan Chakra Corps

BHOPAL, March 23, 2026 — General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), conducted a comprehensive visit to the Sudarshan Chakra Corps to evaluate the formation’s operational preparedness and modernization milestones.

During the high-level review, the COAS was briefed on critical strategic pillars, including mission readiness, active joint exercises, and groundbreaking battlefield innovations driven by in-house development.

A significant portion of the briefing focused on the Army’s shift toward emerging organizational constructs and the integration of AI-enabled transformation, alongside the growing importance of Military-Civil Fusion in national security.
