IMA Officer Cadets Sharpen Combat Skills During On-Job Training with Kharga Corps

CHANDIGARH, March 23, 2026 — Strengthening the transition from academy life to active service, Officer Cadets from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) recently completed an intensive On the Job Training program with the Western Command’s prestigious Kharga Corps.

This immersive experience allowed the future leaders to embrace the warrior ethos by living the authentic life of a soldier, moving beyond theoretical studies to engage in the practical rigours of field operations.

Throughout the training, the cadets were exposed to the complexities of modern warfare, gaining hands-on experience with advanced military systems and mastering essential combat drills.
