JPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdowns Across Jammu and Kashmir Regions
JAMMU, MARCH 20, 2026: The Chief Engineer (Distribution) of JPDCL Jammu has issued a comprehensive schedule for essential maintenance and power shutdowns affecting several districts over the coming days.
On March 22, residents in Rahyal, Patti, Rajinderpura, Gurah, Nagrota, and Utterbehni should prepare for a power outage from 8 am to 3 pm. Similarly, areas including Nagrota, Sainik School, IIT, Thanda Pani, and Bamyal will face a shutdown on March 23 between 10 am and 2 pm.
For those in Sangaldan, Gool, Banihal, and surrounding localities like Sherbibi and Hinjal, the power supply will be interrupted on both March 23 and 24 from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm to facilitate necessary technical works.Further maintenance activities will impact Kalta, Mansar, and Sunari on March 23 from 10 am to 4 pm, while Trilokpur, Talab Tillo, Seora, and Gajansoo are scheduled for a shutdown on March 24 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Additionally, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, O&M Circle Kathua, has notified that Badhori and its adjoining areas will experience brief power interruptions on March 22 and 23, specifically from 9 am to 11 am.
Residents are advised to plan their daily activities accordingly to minimize any inconvenience caused by these essential service upgrades.
