Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Celebrates Navreh in Jammu: Calls on Youth to Lead J&K Toward a Developed Future
JAMMU, March 19, 2026 — Highlighting the transformative power of tradition and the potential of the next generation, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha joined the Navreh celebrations organized by the Kashmiri Pandit Sabha at Amphalla, Jammu, on Thursday.
Addressing a gathering of devotees and prominent citizens, the Lieutenant Governor emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir is poised to become a vibrant cultural hub and a prosperous Union Territory.
He underscored that the realization of this vision rests firmly on the shoulders of the youth, whom he encouraged to draw strength from ancestral wisdom and work with unwavering determination to elevate the region among India’s most developed areas.
During the event, he also felicitated Padma Shri Brij Lal Bhat for his significant contributions to society.Invoking the blessings of Maa Durga and Maa Sharika, Manoj Sinha described Navreh and Navratri as profound inner journeys of discipline and spiritual transformation.
Citing the Rigveda, he spoke on the infinite strength of the Mother and outlined the four stages of devotion—hearing, contemplating, internalizing, and reaching a state of oneness. He urged the younger generation to build a lasting connection with their spiritual heritage, asserting that they will not only inherit India’s legacy but actively reshape it for a sustainable tomorrow.
The celebration was attended by various dignitaries, including K.K. Khosa, President of the Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, and senior officials, all of whom joined in praying for a New Year marked by peace, health, and renewed hope for all citizens.
