Kharga Corps Commander Inspires IMA Officer Cadets: Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar Calls for “Techno Warriors” and Military Transformation

AMBALA, March 18, 2026 — In a high-impact interaction aimed at shaping the next generation of military leadership, Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Kharga Corps, addressed the Directing Staff and Officer Cadets from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) today.

During the session, the GOC provided an in-depth analysis of the contours and strategic drivers behind the victory in Operation SINDOOR, using the historical success to illustrate the complexities of the current global geo-political landscape and the evolving nature of modern conflicts.

He challenged the budding leaders to transcend traditional roles and become “Techno Warriors” by staying vigilant and rapidly embracing emerging technologies to maintain a decisive edge on the battlefield.

Addressing the future of the Indian Armed Forces, Lt Gen Pushkar underscored the critical importance of fostering Atmanirbharta (Self-Reliance) and being the primary drivers of organizational transformation, including the transition toward Theaterisation.
