SRINAGAR, MARCH 16, 2026 — In a proactive move to bridge the gap between the administration and the public, Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, conducted a high-priority public outreach session today at the Raabita Office in Srinagar.

During the session, the Advisor engaged with a diverse range of delegations and individuals to address pressing professional, educational, and safety concerns.

A prominent meeting was held with the J&K Graduate Engineers Association, whose members sought government intervention regarding various professional matters and career-related grievances.

Additionally, the Private Schools Association raised critical points concerning the operational hurdles and the overall functioning of private educational institutions across the Union Territory, highlighting the need for streamlined administrative support.

A significant portion of the outreach focused on humanitarian concerns, specifically a heartfelt appeal from parents of students currently studying in Iran. Given the volatile regional situation, the delegation expressed deep anxiety over the safety of their children and requested immediate government assistance for their evacuation.

Advisor Wani provided a strong assurance that the administration is maintaining a constant vigil on the situation and is committed to taking all necessary diplomatic and logistical steps to ensure the students’ safe return. Beyond organized groups, numerous individuals from across the region presented localized issues ranging from infrastructure development to essential service delivery.

The Advisor provided a patient hearing to all participants, affirming that every genuine grievance would be thoroughly examined and forwarded to the respective departments for swift and appropriate action.
