Assam Rifles Recovers Civil Truck After Six-Hour Rescue Operation on Manipur’s NH-129A
MARAM, MANIPUR: Demonstrating their unwavering commitment to community support, the Assam Rifles, under the aegis of the Spear Corps, successfully executed a recovery operation for a civilian vehicle in Manipur.
On March 15, a commercial truck veered off the road and fell into a deep ditch near Maram Khullen village along National Highway-129A. Upon receiving news of the accident, the Assam Rifles personnel immediately mobilized to the site to provide critical assistance and ensure the safety of the area.
The recovery mission was a grueling six-hour effort that required specialized equipment and coordinated maneuvers. Utilizing a JCB and a dedicated recovery vehicle, the team worked tirelessly to navigate the difficult terrain and hoist the truck back onto the highway.
The operation concluded successfully with the vehicle being safely restored to the road, once again proving the “Strength in Service” ethos of the force in aiding the local population during emergencies.
