In a heartfelt display of communal harmony Army hosts Iftar Party at 50 Rashtriya Rifles headquarter at Shar-e-Shali Camp

Srinagar March 15,2026 :- Ensuring its long-standing tradition of engaging with local communities during the holy month of Ramadan, Indian Army’s 50 Rashtriya Rifles stationed at Shar-e-Shali organised an Iftar gathering on 14 Mar 2026.
The event was organized as a gesture of goodwill, allowing the Army to join Locals to interact with Local population, religious leaders, elders, youth, representatives of civil administration and members from different communities.The Iftar gathering symbolises a shared commitment to peace, stability and communal harmony. Expressing gratitude to the local community for their unwavering support and cooperation army persons attended the event and interacted with the guests.

The Islamic holy month of Ramadan is a time for Muslims all over the world to renew their focus on spiritual life and its practical application in daily life.The Indian Army by organising this event ensured a common platform to interact, discuss with locals and strengthen the bonding in a great way.
Meanwhile, the event was attended by the Top Police officials, Senior leaders, Civilians of Pulwama, Media persons and Administrative official’s as well.
