DIG Udhampur–Reasi Range Honors Daughter of DySP DAR for Clearing CDS Examination
UDHAMPUR, MARCH 14, 2026 — In a proud moment for the regional police fraternity, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Udhampur–Reasi Range, Sarah Rizvi, joined SSP Udhampur Amod Nagpure to officially felicitate Mrigu Sambyal at the District Police Lines.
The ceremony was held to celebrate Sambyal’s successful clearance of the prestigious Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination conducted by the UPSC in 2025.
As the daughter of DySP DAR Udhampur Jatinder Singh Sambyal, her achievement marks a significant milestone for both her family and the local law enforcement community.
Mrigu Sambyal, a post-graduate in Political Science from the University of Delhi, has been selected for the Indian Army and is currently undergoing rigorous training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai.
During the event, DIG Sarah Rizvi and SSP Amod Nagpure lauded her relentless hard work and dedication, noting that her selection into the armed forces serves as a powerful inspiration for the youth of the region.
