Indian Army’s White Knight Corps Recovers 4kg of Explosives in Poonch; Terrorist Hideout Neutralized in Joint Search Operation

POONCH, March 12, 2026 — In a major boost to regional security, the alert troops of the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps, in coordination with joint security forces, successfully recovered a significant cache of explosives during a targeted search operation in the General Area of Poonch.

The recovery, which took place at approximately 4:45 PM on March 11, consisted of roughly 4 kilograms of high-grade explosives concealed deep within a natural cave. Alongside the deadly material, search parties discovered remnants of stale cooked food, a clear indicator that the site had recently served as a logistical safe haven for terrorists operating in the rugged terrain.

To ensure public safety and prevent any accidental detonation, the White Knight Corps confirmed that the seized explosives were destroyed in situ (on-site) by specialized bomb disposal teams.

This successful intervention underscores the Indian Army’s sustained operational vigilance and its proactive strategy to dismantle the clandestine support networks and hideouts used by militants in the border districts.

Military officials emphasized that this discovery is a testament to the continuous pressure being applied on anti-national elements, stating that the “hunt continues” as security forces intensify their presence to fully sanitize the area and neutralize any remaining threats.
