Sajad Lone Denounces “Cowardly” Attack on Dr. Farooq Abdullah

HANDWARA, March 12, 2026 — Jammu & Kashmir People’s Conference (JKPC) President and MLA Handwara, Sajad Gani Lone, has issued a strong statement condemning the firing incident targeting veteran leader Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, and Nasir Aslam Wani.

In a post shared on X, Lone described the attack as a “cowardly” act and expressed his profound relief that the leaders escaped unharmed.
