Jammu and Kashmir Weather Update: Fresh Spell of Rain and Snow Forecast for Next 24 Hours
SRINAGAR, March 12, 2026 — A fresh weather system is set to bring a spell of light to moderate rain and snow showers across Jammu and Kashmir over the next 24 hours.
According to the latest forecast from Kashmir Weather, the precipitation is expected to cover most areas of the Kashmir valley and many parts of the Jammu division.
While today remains wet, a significant improvement is anticipated shortly thereafter; the region is expected to see largely dry weather on March 13 and 14, with only isolated light showers possible at a few high-altitude locations.
