BSF Reclaims Gymnastics Championship Title After Eight-Year Wait at All India Police Kabaddi Cluster
JAMMU, March 10, 2026 — In a resounding display of athletic prowess and discipline, the Border Security Force (BSF) Central Gymnastics Team has officially clinched the Championship Trophy at the 2nd All India Police Kabaddi Cluster 2025–26.
Currently being held in Jammu from March 7 to 12, the prestigious tournament saw the BSF reclaim the top spot on the podium after a significant eight-year gap. This victory marks a major milestone for the Force’s sporting division, signaling a triumphant return to dominance in the national police sporting arena.
The BSF’s success was further bolstered by exceptional individual performances that swept the top honors of the competition. Shraddha Verma delivered a stellar performance to be declared the Best Player in the Women’s Section, ultimately securing a Gold Medal for her technical precision and agility.
On the men’s side, Meiraba Meitei was adjudged the Best Player of the Championship, earning high praise for his consistency and skill. These individual accolades, combined with the collective effort of the squad, underscored the BSF’s rigorous training standards and competitive spirit.
