AAI Chairman Honors Women in Aviation: Celebrating ‘Nari Shakti’ on International Women’s Day
NEW DELHI, MARCH 08: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) issued a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter), extending warm greetings and deep appreciation to the women professionals driving India’s aviation sector.
Highlighting their “dedication, professionalism, and resilience,” the Chairman noted that women are playing a vital role in every facet of the organization, from ground operations and engineering to administration and architecture.
A special tribute was paid to women Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) for their precision and calm judgment in ensuring the safety of Indian skies, as well as those in Human Resources, Finance, and CNS for their expertise in modernizing the nation’s aviation infrastructure.
Celebrating their ability to “break barriers,” the AAI leadership reaffirmed its commitment to a diverse workspace, acknowledging that the excellence of its female workforce continues to inspire innovation and progress across the global aviation ecosystem.
