Kashmir Schools to Reopen March 9: Director Dismisses Postponement Rumors

SRINAGAR, MARCH 8: Director of School Education Kashmir, Naseer Ahmad Wani, officially confirmed today that all educational institutions across the Kashmir division will resume operations tomorrow, March 9, as per the previously established academic calendar.

Addressing growing confusion caused by unverified reports, Wani explicitly dismissed social media rumors suggesting a delay in the resumption of classes, urging parents and the general public to rely only on official communiqués.

As students from Classes 1st to 8th prepare to return from their winter break, the Director has instructed all Heads of Institutions and teaching staff to create a celebratory atmosphere.

The department emphasized that the first day should be conducted in strict adherence to existing guidelines, ensuring a warm and supportive transition back to the classroom for all students.
