Jammu and Kashmir Development: CM Omar Abdullah Reviews Community Grievances with Multiple Delegations

JAMMU, March 5, 2026 — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah hosted a series of high-level meetings at his residence today, engaging with diverse delegations to address pressing developmental and welfare-related concerns across the Union Territory.

During the session, Rajya Sabha Member Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, accompanied by a delegation from Paddar, Kishtwar, submitted memoranda focused on enhancing infrastructure in the tourism, public works, and power sectors within the Paddar region.

The Chief Minister also held discussions with a delegation of Kashmiri Migrants regarding their specific demands, as well as representatives from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community, led by Abdul Ghani Teli, who highlighted issues critical to the welfare and growth of OBC residents.

Further representations were made by former DDC Members Pooja Thakur and Shameem Begum concerning local area issues, alongside a meeting with the Ambedkar Education Society of Jammu.

Chief Minister Abdullah assured all participants of his administration’s steadfast commitment to public welfare, emphasizing that every genuine grievance and developmental request would be evaluated and addressed based on its merit.
