BABINA, March 6, 2026 – In a significant move under the “#MilitaryCivilFusion Abhiyan,” the Indian Army’s Southern Command has further fortified integrated security mechanisms through a high-level coordinated Joint Patrolling initiative at the Babina Field Firing Range.
Operating under the aegis of the White Tiger Division and the Sudarshan Chakra Corps, a specialized 64-member team—comprising Army troops, Uttar Pradesh Police personnel, and officials from the Forest and Mining Departments—executed intensive patrolling across the range and 11 surrounding villages.
This operation was guided by newly evolved, joint Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) designed to streamline civil-military cooperation and ensure a unified response to security challenges in the region. The initiative leveraged cutting-edge technology and inter-state coordination to enhance operational preparedness, featuring round-the-clock drone surveillance and bolstered range safety protocols.
By fostering seamless intelligence sharing between the authorities of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, the program achieved a heightened level of regional synergy. Beyond tactical maneuvers, the mission prioritized a “Whole-of-System” approach, engaging in focused village outreach to build trust and reinforce security awareness among local communities.
This collaborative framework not only safeguards critical military infrastructure but also reflects a steadfast commitment to national security through localized cooperation and modern surveillance.
