Mega Job Fair for Veterans in Bengaluru: DGR Connects Over 600 Ex-Servicemen with Top Corporate Leaders
BENGALURU, FEB 27, 2026 — In a major boost to the “Second Career” initiative for India’s military heroes, the Director General Resettlement (DGR), functioning under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), successfully organized a massive Job Fair at the MEG & Centre in Bengaluru today.
The event, graced by the Commandant of the ASC Centre & College as the Chief Guest, witnessed an overwhelming response with over 600 Ex-Servicemen registering to transition into the corporate sector.
More than 51 leading multinational companies and domestic firms participated, offering a wide array of employment opportunities across diverse sectors including logistics, security management, administration, and technical services.
