SSP Amod Nagpure Leads Comprehensive Crime Review Meeting at DPL Udhampur to Bolster District Security
UDHAMPUR, February 25, 2026 — Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur, Amod Nagpure, IPS, chaired a pivotal operations-cum-crime review meeting at the District Police Lines (DPL) Udhampur to evaluate the district’s prevailing security landscape and operational efficiency.
Attended by senior officers including the Additional SP, SDPOs, and SHOs, the meeting focused on a meticulous assessment of crime disposal, with SSP Nagpure demanding high-quality investigations and the time-bound completion of cases within the mandatory 60 to 90-day period.
Special attention was given to reducing pendency in NDPS cases, property-related offenses, and the tracking of absconders, emphasizing a streamlined approach to ensure speedy justice for victims.Reiterating a strict zero-tolerance policy toward narcotics and internal indiscipline, the SSP directed officers to take firm, sustained action against drug peddlers and organized criminal networks.
The meeting also served as a platform to review the implementation of modern policing tools such as CCTNS, e-Sakshya, and e-summons, alongside the mandatory use of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) services as prescribed under the BNSS provisions.
