LG Manoj Sinha Calls for Civilizational Awakening at Shri Lakshminarayan Temple Prana-Pratishtha in Deoria

DEORIA (UP) | February 20, 2026 :- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today joined a massive gathering of devotees at the historic Bankatashiv site in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, to participate in the sacred Mahayagya and Prana-Pratishtha ceremony of the Shri Lakshminarayan Temple.

Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor described the ceremony as a milestone in India’s “civilizational revival,” emphasizing that the sanctuary will serve as a beacon for the youth, grounding them in their glorious heritage while awakening them to the transformative progress of the modern era. He asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is navigating a unique era where rapid economic growth and world-class infrastructure are being matched by a profound renaissance of spiritual and cultural consciousness.

During his address, LG Sinha offered a powerful threefold resolution for the nation’s future, urging for India to be transformed into a preeminent global nation, a formidable power, and the world’s ultimate sanctuary of intellectual wealth. He noted that the same devotion that preserved Indian culture through centuries of adversity must now empower the new generation to turn ancient wisdom into contemporary strength. Looking toward the centenary of independence, the Lieutenant Governor envisioned a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047 that is not only driven by economic ambition but is also spiritually enriched and culturally self-assured. He concluded by stating that as India establishes itself as an emerging global power, every citizen carries the responsibility to honor this heritage, ensuring the country stands tall as a fully awakened and prosperous global leader.
