Jammu Kashmir Lok Bhavan Celebrates Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram

JAMMU, Feb 21, 2026: The Jammu Kashmir Lok Bhavan recently hosted a vibrant celebration to mark the Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram, underscoring the cultural ties that bind the Union Territory with the North Eastern states.

During the event, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his heartiest greetings to the people of both states, offering prayers for their continued health, prosperity, and rapid socio-economic development. Emphasizing the core philosophy of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,” the Lieutenant Governor remarked that India’s unique cultural and spiritual legacy remains a global standout by consistently promoting the ideals of unity and harmony across diverse regions.Describing Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram as the “shining diamonds of India,” the Lieutenant Governor noted that they represent far more than geographical entities; they are living symbols of the nation’s heritage.
