Doda Police Organizes Seminar at GDC Doda to Honor 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Doda, February 18, 2026 — To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration, Doda Police organized a high-impact seminar at the Government Degree College (GDC), Doda.

Held under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) and directed by SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, the event sought to celebrate the legacy of the “Iron Man of India.” The program was led by the DySP Headquarters Doda and saw active participation from the Incharge Principal, faculty members, and nearly 100 students, all gathered to reflect on Patel’s invaluable contributions to the unification of the country.

The seminar served as a vibrant platform for academic and patriotic discourse, with both faculty and students delivering speeches on the leadership, vision, and selfless public service of Sardar Patel. To encourage engagement, twelve students who delivered standout presentations were honored with cash prizes and participation certificates.
