SRINAGAR, February 17, 2026 — The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a major crackdown in Srinagar on Tuesday, targeting the residence of a retired government employee in connection with an ongoing terrorism case.

According to official sources, the raid took place in the Mehjoor Nagar area at the house of Nazir Ahmed Bhat.The operation is linked to a high-profile terror case registered in 2024.

During the search, NIA officials meticulously examined various documents and electronic materials to uncover potential leads.
