Massive Manhunt Launched as Three Inmates, Including Two Pakistani Nationals, Escape RS Pura Juvenile Home

RS PURA, February 16: A high-alert security situation has been triggered in the Jammu region after three inmates, including two Pakistani nationals, escaped from the Juvenile Observation Home in Sector RS Pura on Monday evening.

At approximately 5:05 PM, the detainees reportedly launched a violent attack on the police personnel on duty, injuring two officers before fleeing the high-security facility.

The escapees have been identified as Ahsan Anwar and Mohd. Sanaullah, both residents of Pakistan, and Karanjit Singh (alias Gugga), a local resident of Dablehar, RS Pura.Following the breach, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have taken formal cognizance of the incident and initiated a large-scale investigation.

Specialized police teams have been constituted and are currently conducting coordinated raids at multiple locations across the district and border areas to apprehend the fugitives.

Authorities have intensified patrolling and set up checkpoints throughout the sector to prevent the escapees from crossing into sensitive zones. While more details are awaited, the police have reaffirmed their commitment to a swift recapture, urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
