Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Pledges People-Centric Governance During Public Delegations in Jammu
JAMMU, February 16: Reinforcing the government’s commitment to transparent and accessible administration, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today met with diverse public and individual delegations at the Civil Secretariat.
Representing districts across the Union Territory—including Kishtwar, Rajouri, Baramulla, and Srinagar—the visitors raised critical concerns regarding infrastructure, such as the construction of roads and bridges, as well as labor rights, mining regulations, and employee grievances.
The Deputy CM listened to these appeals, reiterating that the current administration is firmly dedicated to a people-centric governance model that prioritizes the needs of every citizen.
During the interactions, Deputy CM Choudhary assured the delegations that all genuine grievances would be fast-tracked for redressal through the respective departments. He emphasized that the government is making exhaustive efforts to ensure the timely completion of developmental projects and seamless service delivery across all public offices.
“Our agenda is to ensure time-bound grievance redressal and provide immediate relief to the people,” he stated, adding that specific directives have been issued to officials to adopt a compassionate and proactive approach toward solving public issues.
This engagement underscores the J&K government’s broader mission to foster accountability and strengthen the link between the administration and the grassroots population.
