National Conference Gains Momentum in Udhampur as Prominent Youth and Social Activists Join Party Fold

UDHAMPUR, Feb 16, 2026 — In a move set to reshape the local political landscape, the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) welcomed a wave of influential youth and social activists into its ranks during a high-profile induction ceremony at the party’s District Office. Presided over by Provincial President (Jammu) Adv. Rattan Lal Gupta, the event marked a strategic expansion for the party in the Udhampur region.

Among the notable new entrants is Advocate Mukesh Chalotra, a prominent High Court lawyer and youth leader, who joined alongside activists Dora Singh, Balwan Singh, Yashpal, and Gaurav Singh. The new members formally pledged their allegiance to the visionary leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, committing to strengthening the party’s grassroots foundation.Addressing the gathering, Adv.
