MAHABALIPURAM, Feb 15, 2026 — In a landmark achievement for military education, the College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad, was conferred with the prestigious Organisational Excellence Award 2025 by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) for its outstanding contributions to academics and training.
The distinguished honor was presented by Mr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Honourable Minister of Information Technology & Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu, to Major General G Srinivas, Commandant of CDM, during the IPMA Global Project Professional Forum 2026 held in Mahabalipuram.
The ceremony was attended by eminent figures including Dr. A Sivathanu Pillai, President of PMA India, and Shri N Ram, Chief Editor of The Hindu, alongside various industry leaders and academicians.
This award serves as a significant milestone for the Indian Armed Forces, recognizing CDM’s academic rigor and its vital role in equipping officers with advanced project management skill sets essential for modern defense requirements.
