Eastern Command Honors 116th Corps of Signals Raising Day with Solemn Wreath Laying Ceremony

KOLKATA, Feb 15, 2026 — On the historic occasion of the 116th Raising Day of the Corps of Signals, Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, Army Commander of the Eastern Command, extended his warmest greetings and felicitations to all ranks, veterans, and families of the esteemed signal fraternity.

Marking the day with deep reverence, Major General Ishpal Singh Gill, Chief Signal Officer (CSO) at Headquarters Eastern Command, led a dignified ceremony by laying a wreath at the Vijay Smarak War Memorial, Vijay Durg.
